The long awaited Look cyclocross bike is almost here, but will not be available as a 2012 model. Look is still fine tuning the model, but is showing off an early pre production X85 to test the public’s interest. What we know so far is that the new X85 will be a 100% carbon fiber frameset, featuring tube to tube technology and utilizes Look’s expertise in orientation of rigidities. The technology allows differentiating lateral rigidity up to 25% from verticle rigidity so as to have a bike both high performing yet equally comfortable.
